Hypothetical Question

Posted: 6/23/06 at 3:34pmSay you're auditioning for college and you need to do two monologues - you get in the room and you forget one of them half way through. What do you do? Would you recommend having a copy in your pocket? What do you do? I'm terrified at forgetting my lines when I go in - it hasn't ever happened to me before but I mean, this is for college... Suggestions?

If you do forget them then you should know the jist of it so improvise and say it in your own words. Definatly don't stop and start over. It's best to bring a copy of your monolouges with you to look over while you're waiting.
