What don't you get?

Hollywood doesn't have an original idea left, so they beat the corpses of dead shows.

They are calling it a reboot, but it is just a continuation of the story...I think. The article isn't too clear about that. But 3 more movies? Is there enough plot left for 3 more movies. I mean, SCREAM 3 was pushing it.

Reboot, sequel, re-imagining...

It's all the same...

This isn't new, it's been out for a few months now.

This actually makes me a bit happy. I doubt it will be any good, but it originally was going to just be a reboot, kind of like they have done with Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, and are working on for Nightmare on Elm Street (and for some reason Buffy, but that's another story of the no-more-ideas variety). But now that I know it might continue from Scream 3 I'm slightly more on board. The horror genre is known for having a lot of sequels anyway and in this day and age I'll take a crappy sequel any day over the countless remakes, reboots, prequels, and the such.

Isn't a reboot just a remake?

When I re-boot my computer, I just turn it off and then back on again.

It's a stupid term to use.

Horror fans live for this crap, honestly. That is why the studios do it. Even though they may end up hating it, horror nuts eat this crap up. Plus, the studios know they only need one big opening weekend to turn a profit. It's pretty harmless. It's not like the original scream movies are classics...far from in my book. Horror nerds spend as much money as comic book nerds and studios know that. Plus, they have to see everything, so even if its garbage, they will see it.
