Yay Yenta!! I've missed you sweetie! I am so proud of you. I knew that things would work out for you darling! Well while you've been losing a person I've gained one. Well most of one, he's only about 2 and a half pounds now, but he's getting bigger everyday. Only 3 more months til I've gained a new person. 
So I can't wait to see the before and after pics!

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. It is support like that that really keeps me going! I still have a ways to go but what's the rush. If there is anyone on this board who is contemplating having this surgery, feel free to contact me. On a funnier note..........my pants fell down in the mall today.

The amount of food I eat is geared toward a post op gastric by pass patient. My new stomach pouch is about the size of an egg. My intake would not be suitable for a person with a regular stomach.

I have a friend who had this surgery and struggled with a few post op issues. P l e a s e don't get discouraged if the same happens to you. Stay in close communication with your doctor. Congratulations on deciding to LIVE a healthier life!

Thanks to all of you on your your well wishes and encouragement. That is more important to me than a weight loss. Ok, well maybe a little. There have been some struggles, but nothing that can't be worked out. My surgeon is the director of bariatric surgery and the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, CT. He has been marvelous and very supportive and doesnt seem like a big shot at all. I will keep you all posted on my progress and will let you know when I finally have a sex life again. Perhaps if my pants fall down in public again, that may occur!!
