I love the soundtrack from The Devil Wears Prada.
And from Coyote Ugly. Great pop music combined on one CD.

Posted: 9/2/06 at 9:54amSome wonderful choices here. DG, mine would always include 'A River Runs Through It'. My favourites include many by Thomas Newman, especially 'Little Women'. 'Dances With Wolves', 'Chocolate', 'Cider Houser Rules' and the very beautiful 'Out Of Africa' which I was listening to last night, funnily enough.

Patti - I'm a bit of a John Barry fan, so any of his rank up there for me - and OUT OF AFRICA is definitely one of my faves. That love goes all the way back to BORN FREE, the theme from which can still send me into oblivion.
A couple more I thought of:

The Last Emperor and The Mission are beautiful.

And adding 'Sense And Sensiblity, 'Finding Neverland' and DG, when I was travelling down to Wimbledon this summer in my friend's car, he played a mix of John Barry themes. 'Born Free' played and the car was awash!
