I Just Won A Raffle Prize`#0

When I was at the Brooklyn Museum for the First Saturday earlier this month, I bought a raffle. I just received a call from the museum to tell me that I won a $50 gift certificate from a local store.

Its the first thing that I've won since winning the Draft Lottery for the Viet Nam war.

Perhaps my luck is changing.

How nice! I wonder why the prize isn't $50 from the Museum shop?

Jane, I imagine the stores provided gifts for the raffle in exhange for the publicity. They do have a nice gift shop, I got my niece a nice giraffe sculpture.
