I See What I Wanna See Seating Question

Hi.
Just booked my tickets for 'I See What I Wanna See' and was given Row LA seat 5. Now Row LA isn't on the seating chart, so I assumed it would be the first row of the left box, is this right?!

I have never been to this theater before and was wondering whether people who have, think this is a good seat or wether I've made a huge horrible mistake?

I've never been to the theatre either, but I am guessing any seat is a good seat considering it's a small house.

Did you sign up as a member in order to get tickets early?

No. Tickets are on sale NOW and are apparently selling out really fast (the whole center orchestra section is already sold out through members). So click onto Telecharge as fast as you can!

This is fascinating! They weren't suppose to be released until tomorrow.

I was just able to get Center Orchestra Row F for what appears to be closing performance.

There aren't "boxes" per se as you'd think of them in a Broadway theatre. They're just two short rows of chairs squeezed on either side of the center section, above the two tunnels where the actors enter and exit below. The sight lines are perfect. There are no bad seats in the theatre (it only holds 275 seats).

BSoBW2, I understand why you're blaming Idina (well, it's really about her fans' fault) but can't you still get tickets?

Anyway, that's so weird that they started selling them early, when the website still says "September 19th". Maybe the 19th is when the box office starts selling them, but they're available online earlier. Hmm.

Anyway, thanks for posting this, because I ended up with the same question- I'm in Row LA seat 1.

Margo, as a long time subscriber - is this LA1 that's coming up better than Center Orchestra F or is it really a tiny enough house that it doesn't matter?

I love the fact that I am in the last row of the house but still close.

Pat, I'm in row F for the same performance! We'll be following each other around that weekend! What seats are you? (I'm 110 and 111). I like facing the stage, but I'm sure being to the side of it isn't bad, especially if you're in the front row.

It doesn't really matter, but I suppose you might go for Center Orchestra if it's available. Not sure how the show will be staged or how the set will be configured to the space, but generally speaking the center section would be the optimum place from which to view things in most cases. But, as I said it really doesn't make much difference.

Does anyone know if this is closing on November 20th or December 4th (like broadway.com says)? And when would tickets for the last few weeks go on sale if it is Dec. 4th?

The Public Theatre's website calender doesn't show this beyond 11/20. So I assume that is the closing date.

I suppose the only way to know for sure is to call the box office.
