I am a brilliant artist...on eBay. What else should I paint?

I have been painting a lot and selling stuff on eBay. The weird thing is that people are actually buying it. I have learned that very few people go onto eBay with the intention of buying art. What happens is they are looking for something else and then see a painting of it and buy it on a whim.

Do you have any suggestions of what else may sell?

Isn't 85% of being an artist coming up with ideas? Do we get commissions for helping you make money?

Rathnait, you get my undying gratitude. I like painting, but when it comes to painting for eBAy I am usually painting the most likely thing thing to sell. If it is staying in my house or for a friend, I paint much differently. I am a hack.

Props man! Those are awesome. From one painter to another those really are my style. I totally should think about selling my stuff on E-bay when I go back home and raid my basement.

you're selling your work at prices from .50 to $20 (with an average price of $10.43) ?!? you're spending more money listing items than you are in selling 'em aren't ya?

oh, and i like your work. start with higher bids for your work!!

shipping costs always cover the cost of mailing AND posting. it's really only a hobby and it is fun to have anything at all sell.
