Alright. I was given an assignment/performance - to do a two part, male duet with my friend, that incorporated significant harmony. Now, my first thoughts were things like "We can do it" and "Where did we go right" from the producers, or songs such as that, but apparently they're not harmonious enough. My friend and I would attempt a more operatic piece, but alas he is a bass and me a baritone at best. SO, does anyone know of any lower ranged, two part male duets? Oh and with a readily available score would be good (the teachers are evil regarding that). Thanks for any help!

The first song that comes to mind is Lily's Eyes from The Secret Garden, but I don't know if that will help you...

Yea, that one's come up a lot in my searching, but it's a hard piece to get a copy of... both score and audio wise (within the short time I have anyway).

You can buy it instantly right there for five bucks.

Thanks, that was really helpful, I have a score now, and I'm definitely going to consider Lily's Eyes...does anyone know where to find a backing track, or would it be easier to just use an accompianist on piano?

Probably better to use an accompianist, it'll sound better!

Still, the song is not exactly low range...that makes it hard.

Yea I noticed that, but my range is to an A5 so I won't have trouble, and my partner can hit an F5, so we should be able to make do. Thanks!
