I know that album. I never owned it but I saw it at record stores a lot.
Now I'm going to have to search for that recording!

Dgrant I have Joe Williams singing it and he's terrific.
It says that the Dudley recording is a medley that includes "Love Me Or Leave Me" and the album is titled Smilin' Through.

That song became an obsession with me. I searched high and low for different versions. It started with seeing it in a commercial. Two older women weere sitting , one played a guitar and both sang the song. It was for Citi Bank.
