This summer, I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth pulled. I found out at a routine dentist appointment one Friday and I had to come back the next Friday so I could have them pulled. The next Friday was the day I had been planning all summer to go to NYC and see Wicked before Kristin left. I also have a panic-attack inducing fear of needles/surgery and broke down in tears in the parking lot on the way in.
In the end, I was just glad for my new best friend: Vicodin.
Wanting life but never knowing how
