This is the second time it happened when my parrot warned me of danger. I was asleep, and he heard someone at the door. Not knocking, but trying to get in with a key or other tool. He starts making noise, and yells out hello very loud, to wake me up. The first time, it was someone with tools trying to break in and when I yelled out that I was inside, it didn't stop them. I was scared to death and called 911. Today it happened again, only it was my super trying to get in. He didn't know I was home and he was coming to fix something. I'm so proud of my pet, I'm posting his picture here.

Posted: 2/16/06 at 2:51pmThanks, you two! Well, I did give him permission to go in, but you're right, he could have knocked first. It was pretty embarrassing for him to see me just getting out of bed. It's quite a nightmare if I must say.
