Posted: 3/8/08 at 6:32pmI live in a small dorm, and put stuff on my bed when there's nowhere else to put it. I put my salad container on my bed, and it tipped over some vinegar leaked out.

I had a similar thought, PJ. "Add olive oil and toss"
(btw - if it was a serious question, don't worry about it. It'll rinse out with plain water. Spilling olive oil would have been a bigger mess).
A click for life.

Posted: 3/8/08 at 6:36pmThanks, Pab. Should I bother washing it in the laundry, or would that not help?

Posted: 3/8/08 at 6:37pmI would try the Club Soda first and see if you can get most of it out then I would deal with the laundry.

Posted: 3/8/08 at 7:01pmIn the last week, I've gotten balsamic vinegrette, black nail polish, and pomegranate juice on my bed sheets. I think I might just have to toss them.

Posted: 3/8/08 at 7:04pmWelllll if they are white, then bleach will do. If not, then i agree with the club soda method. :)

Posted: 3/8/08 at 7:18pmIf it doesn't come out, toss the sheets in the sink with the whole bottle of balsamic. Then wash your new uniformly balsamic colored sheets!

There's a laundry gel called "Shout" and it's available at most grocery stores. Rub the gel into the spots and let them sit for an hour or so. Then toss the sheets into the wash with lots of bleach. You may have to repeat the process.
Aren't you glad that my computer is in my laundry room?

Posted: 3/8/08 at 11:40pmThanks, guys! I'm surprised this hasn't turned into "one of those" threads (yet).

Posted: 3/9/08 at 12:32pmI used my "Tide To-Go" on the juice and the vinegrette... I tried using nail polish remover on the nail polish, but there's still a discolored spot. Drat. Luckily, it's small.
