I'm in love with Mary Ann Esposito's cooking.

She's one lady who knows what she's doing.

Fresh ingredients, simply prepared.

Ciao Italia

There's more to Italian food than pasta.

I also love MaryAnn Esposito. She's so likable and she makes everything seem so simple to cook. I am hooked on all Italian cooking shows though, Lidia and Mario Batali also. I wish I could just throw ingredients together and create magic.

Lidia is terrific, too.

Mario, well, when I first saw his program he was cooking with extremely dirty fingernails. That turned me off to anything he would make. Refuse to eat in his restaurant, too. Having worked in professional kitchens in Manhattan for several years I know just how clean, or not, they can be. Dirty fingernails is a major "no no." for any true professional. Especially for anyone cooking for the television camera.

Mary Ann make delicious looking dishes, with high level of practical knowledge.

way to lure me into a thread.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

I saw Mary Ann Esposito do a cooking demonstration at the Big E in Massachusetts a couple of years ago. She let the audience sample the dinner she made but not the dessert!

Like MaryAnn too..but LOVE Lidia..she cooks just like my Grandmother did. Watching her cook brings back so many memories for me helping Grandma in the kitchen.

trc....that's how grandma taught me to cook...without letting on that she was teaching me...having me mix things...adding ingredients..before I knew it I was making her meatballs on my own....to this day my meatballs and sauce (gravy)taste just like grandma's. No measuring done either...so when someone ask how much of this or that do you add I just hold my hands up and say "that much". re: I'll finally admit it...

Nothing like a pair of home grown meatballs on one's plate.

Yum Yum.

I had some recently that were worth fighting over.
