I know this would have been good to do on Mother's Day, but last night made me think. I have one amazing and strong woman raising me.
She is trying more than hard to provide me with a "normal" life. Right now, we are living with my grandma (whom I love), but she knows it is tough for me...it is. I don't have a place of my own to hang out. She apologizes all of the time and says we will be out of here soon.
She ALWAYS supports me in whatever I do. She believes in me. I am going through a minor depression right now and she makes sure I am happy. She can always put a smile on my face. When it comes to theatre, she comes to every production I work on, even if I am just running the light board. She is so proud of me.
Luckily, I can say the same thing about my dad, but we can save that for Father's Day, lol.
I could go on and on. If I think of anything else really special, I will add it.
Feel free to post wonderful things about your mom or moms in general. They are your backbone for a long time...a lot longer than you would think.

I wanna be JUST like my mom. She's SO athletic and skinny, She was at the top of her class in college, She's been on TV and in the newspaper, and she's so cool!
my mom puts up with me.enof said
I want to turn out just like my mom. She's great at raising her kids, she plays the role of a full-time Mom while running my Dad's company with him, and she went to the most prestigious college in Korea.
I mean, I guess becoming an actress would be okay, too, but at the least, I'd like to turn out like her.
No words can describe my mother. She is beyond extraordinary.
My mother is the AVON LADY! HAHA
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I love my mom... she rules.
She's always been behind me with everything I do.
She does fun stuff with me, like go to concerts and plays.
She stayed home from work for 2 months one time to take care of me when I was sick this past October. (and three months the previous December)
She pushed me so I would graduate on time.
She does things with me all the time, even if it's just something small like going to WalMart.
She stayed up with me to watch the World Series even though she doesn't like baseball.
and most importantly,
She's proud of me and she believes in me.

For those who care, we found a house!
I love your moms too.
But seriously, my mom is at the top of the mom pyramid!
My mother definitely deserves sainthood and I love her beyond measure. She was abandoned and then sexually abused as a child, was married three times to three of the strangest and whacked-out men you could ever meet, survived bankruptcy, became the care-giver to her abusive mother for many years, finally got her college degree in her 60s, now at the age of 78 works full time and teaches reading to adults who never got their highschool educations, volunteers for several organizations, paints, sculpts, plays piano, gardens, and NEVER has an unkind word to say about anyone. I only pray that I have HALF her energy when I'm her age - she is a true marvel! The most positive and sweetest woman you could ever meet!

Keep those mother praises coming!
My mother sold her body, high on Betel nuts. My job was bringing red-faced monsieurs to our huts. Selling your mom is a wrench, perfume can cover a stench, that's what I learned from the French.

My mother is dead.
I adore both my parents. They're my best friends!
Everyday I strive to be a 10th of the woman my mother is. She raised a very engergetic, active, sometimes smartass child (me) by herself and is now taking care of my elderly grandmother. She practically runs herself raggid even though I try to get her to slow down and take time to herself. She is great and I love her to death!
I LOVE my mother. She's my best friend, I can tell her anything.
My mom is my best friend. She is strong and as a single mother i have to say she did one amazing job. I love her so so much! Great thread. Mothers deserve tons of praise.
I love how my mom will wake up after a huge fight with me the previous night and it will be all better. Despite what I may say about how my mom annoys me, me loves her mucho
I LOVE mi madre!!! She is so special and dear to my heart. She comes to see EVERY performance I'm in and ALWAYS encourages me and supports me. I'm prolly the bgest momma's boy you'll ever know. I love her.
I spent this whole weekend with my mother, and I really have to say that she is probably the greatest woman that I have ever met. She is 60 years old, but doesn't look a day over 35. She raised four children while teaching full-time. She was the first person to introduce me to Broadway at the age of nine, and took me into the city every weekend for most of my childhood and teenage years. She and my father both retired in 2003 and are now living a leisurely life. They deserve it. God, I love my mother.
