It's awful. I sit here, day after day, waiting for something to spark my interest. Nothing does. There are only so many film/TV/play reviews I can read online. None of my family members answer my emails. Facebook is stupidly blocked. It's terrifying.
Come to my rescue, someone. SAVE ME!
Wonderfully distracting:

I'm in the same boat as you right now! I have a little less than 2 hours to go. The press releases, calendar listings and human interest stories are a bit slow this summer (I work for a newspaper).
Count me in too. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Once all my work is done for the day I have nothing left to do but answer the phones.

Just so I'm understanding - in the current economic reality of millions of people out of work, unable to keep their homes, etc, etc, etc, you - who have a job that apparently gives you money for no actual output - are complaining about boredom? And that you can't use your employers time to access personal sites such as Facebook?
I'm complaining that by the time the last hour of the work day rolls around, I'm already done everything I have to do.
Blonde- I completely am in the same boat.
I love that sites!

In my experience - either as an employee or employer - there is no such thing as everything being done.
There is when you're a receptionist and you have certain tasks to complete throughout the day.
I know how you guys feel! Im reading all the live feed updates on the Big Brother website. That kills some time..We need a new game on here. I used to kill time with that two word game.
Schmerg, I love those sites!
