Help me!
I want to be a CAT, specifically Munkustrap. I have a wig. Any ideas where I might get one......I'd rather buy one rather make one. I know the leotard might be hard to size, but what about the leg/arm warmers.
Can anyone help me?

I think Jerby has a cat costume you could borrow.
Hey, whatever happened to Munkustrap?

In my experience, the best place to go for dancewear is http://www.adadance.com. You can literally buy every component of a CATS costume there: The unitard, the arm and legwarmers, shoes, etc.
My picks: Get a turtleneck unitard (I like the nylon/lycra myself, because they're shiny like those used on stage), 12" legwarmers for your arms, split-sole canvas ballet shoes (which take paints and dyes very well) and they sell a thing called a Cats' Kit in the Costume section. It's a faux fur hood that makes a very good CATS wig with some alterations.
If you go to my Fan Photos, you can see my stab at a Bombalurina costume. And if you have any questions, just ask!

Woah. Rose, you really nailed that costume. It looks amazing. I would also recommend adadance. They'll have almost everything you need to make one. It's not really possible to buy one and you can only rent them from costume and theatre companies that offer the full costume package which would include all the character costumes and specialties. Also, there's tons of on-line fan communities that have members who have made their own costumes before though, they'll probably all reccomend that you should havs started waaay sooner.
