One of my favorite Bette Midler movies. She should've won the Oscar for that performance!!!!!

I didn't realize the movie was actually a prequel to Sophie's Choice.

It all makes so much sense now.

Yes, Sally Field was wonderful in "Norma Rae," but I still liked Bette's performance more.
