It is a state-funded theater that presents lavish revivals of musicals and new works (it is the current home of HAROLD AND MAUDE). I saw Robert Johanssen's marvelous performance in PETER PAN. There was talk of the production moving to New York, but Johanssen injured himself in the flying sequence and those plans never materialized.
