So, I'm standing in my kitchen putting some chicken nuggets in the oven, when all of a sudden, I hear a racket coming from the bathroom. I go to investigate. I turn the bathroom light on (which also activates the bathroom electrical outlet) and the noise stops. I turn off the light, and it starts up again. My electric toothbrush has switched on all by itself. So, I remove it from the stand, and it keeps going. I hit all of the buttons, and it keeps going. I let it sit on the counter for over two minutes (aka the designated tooth-brushing timer limit), and it keeps going. The only thing that can stop it is when it is in its charger, plugged into an active outlet.
This is the most bizarre thing that has ever happened to me regarding an electrical appliance.

I agree with Patronus. Take it to the woods and set it free. If it comes back to you, brush your teeth. If it doesn't, it was never yours to begin with.
And don't forget to floss.

I had something similar happen during the summer. My computer is in my bedroom. I'm sitting at the computer, and suddenly my bbedroom air conditioner goes on by itself. Weird.
