Personally, I've always been fond of "Press Your Luck"

Elphaba, my mom was on Concentration -- back in the days when Hugh Downs hosted it. She won a station wagon, among other things, but she sold most of it her prizes because she moved to Japan shortly afterward.

The funny moment, from what I hear, was when she tried to solve the puzzle by saying "Making ends steak" instead of "Making ends meet." re: I've Got a Secret

I've never seen it for myself. This was long before VCRs, of course, and I was 15 years or so from being born. Perhaps someday Game Show Network or someone will rerun them.

Some sitcom pitted two of its stars on wheel of fortune and the prize for solving the puzzle in addition to the cash was either a car or a trip

the answer was a famous quote. The more obnoxious of the two ladies in the sitcom (I forget who, so please if you remember, post) says "I'd like to solve the puzzle. Give Me Liberty or give me that mercedes (or trip to....)

To which alex said "oohh I'm sorry. That is incorrect"

and the other character solved the puzzle.

funnier while watching then just reading my recap I'm sure
