We woke up this morning to find both our car windows completely smashed in and a red swastika painted over my HRC bumper sticker. The cops just left. We live in a very secure home and hard to get into neighborhood. We are moritfied. They said 3rd time within 4 weeks in this area. They had no info but they seem to think it is teenagers. My head is spinning..

Oh hon, I am so sorry. My wind shied was busted out while I was at a gay bar about 9 years ago. Hold your head high and do not let the fear get to you.

My car door was kicked in in front of a gay bar a few years ago too. But this is different. They came to our home.

If there has been 3 in 4 weeks, it sounds like kids. School is out and they don't have anything to do. Try not to let it get to you. Easier said than done, I know.

Thanks Shira. I am beside myself. I will say this.. the cops were so nice . And they had already had a detective follow up with us. Their demeanor actually made me feel so much better. Luckily the sawstika was done with red nail paint over the bumper sticker. The rest is glass work and the scrathes.. well... I need to decide what to do.

I am 95% sure that they're teens
and sure they will get caught.

Teens theses days don't really think about what they're doing so they have no plan besides going in jail.

I hate how these idiotic vandals and druggies and losers make my generation look bad. There are so many horrible kids out theer. But we're not all like that.

I know Shmerg. There are also wonderful adults and there are also nasty adults... I know many wonderful teenagers. Can I add.. the glass guy is already here.. and is so CUTE! My partner is downstairs dealing with him. But I am going down now.

The one thing about this incident that is a positive.. is that everyone I have dealt with this morning.. from cops.. to insurance people to the hot glass guy working on our cars .. have all been a pleasure.. And the glass guy is Argentinian and resembles Hugh Jackman....and it is hot out today..
