I was on Oprah today!

And I totally missed it. The show was on loving our dogs. A few years ago we had a photographer come over and take pix of the illustrious Walter Bondi. Well, apparently somehow her pix got to Oprah's producers, and they picked a photo of Walter giving me a kiss to be in the background or something. I got a call today that friends saw my picture at the end of the show. Thankfully they taped it so I get to see it on Saturday.

I wish I had remembered, I would have let people know before the fact.

Jane, Walter because the breed is from the border or England and Scotland, and we wanted an Enlish-sounding name.

Bondi because when he was a puppy, a Bond movie came out. He used to play with his buddy, a female greyhound. We joked he was Bond and she his girl, but since he was little, he was Bondi.

Ironically I met Walter Bondi just last week. He was very sweet. I hope all this new found attention doesn't go to his head!!

Apparently he's now requiring the "park" come to him... no more going for a "walk" in the rain for him. *sigh*

My sister said it's not on the Oprah website.

Are you sure it was Walter and not DD? Perhaps DD just didn't want to share/lose the spotlight to us..
