does anyone else here have an account on imdb.com, and anyone else actually talk on the boards?

No way- the illiteracy, trolling, bigotry, and outright stupidity I've seen there are more than enough to turn me away. I just don't have the patience to put up with a signal-to-noise ratio of about 1:10.

I was on the Ewan Mcgregor boards, and there was this one person who posted that anyone who liked Ewan McGregor was stupid and could kill themselves with a knife or something like that, and this person had really bad puncuation. I am proud to thank BWW for teaching me punctuation is important even on the computer, so I told him that he was calling us stupid when he was the one with bad grammar or something like that, I don't remember exactly.
And on the To Kill A Mockingbird boards, this one kid says that the book was awful........
I just joined today so I'm learning lol

Uh, right.
There was also an extensive discussion on the Ian McKellen boards of whether or not he's gay. Followed by the usual round of virulent homophobia once it was pretty well-established he is. I'm talking a thread of over 100 posts, here.

Everyone was making him out to be some bi-sexual loser, and thankfully there was SOMEONE who said that there was nothing wrong with bisexuality and that you can't really cally Ewan McGregor bisexual because of hi "chemistry" in Velvet Goldmine.

Hehe and the guy who posted about Ewan fans killing themselves eventually just wrote "oooo hit a nerve did I?"
Is he 4? No it didn't hit my nerve, he's just stupid.
