Sigh. Well, I might put it on my netflix queue, for old times' sake, for the memories of the time when Lynch made films that were worth sitting through.

On the whole, though, I'd rather watch ERASERHEAD again. Still his best film.

I think INLAND might be his best film ever.

Yes, even better than BLUE VELVET.

You have no idea what sort of feeling I got in that theatre for three hours. I truly felt "lost" within the movie. Incredible.

I love that it’s a 2-Disc set with lots of extras, including 90 minutes of deleted scenes!

I wish there was a good DVD of LOST HIGHWAY available. That Canadian thing is a horror, the worst mastered DVD I've ever seen. I still have my old laserdisc, I wonder if it still looks good.

My only regret is that they're not releasing the 197 minute Polish version on DVD. (The American release clocks in at 172 minutes.) I'm sure most, if not all, of the footage will be included in the 90 minutes of deleted scenes, but it would have been great to have seen the footage edited back into the film. Oh well... I guess you can't have everything. Still can't wait!

God in heaven, the last thing that INLAND EMPIRE needed to be was LONGER. More, in this case, was certainly less.

I disagree. Like ZODIAC, I can't imagine anything being cut from this extremely long film.

Well, the difference is that ZODIAC is a good film, while INLAND EMPIRE is not.

did you not even enjoy jeremy irons or harry dean stanton?

I liked little bits of INLAND, but found it to be silly and self-indulgent. There's more to a movie than cute little cameos. If Lynch had given Stanton more to do there might have been more of the film to enjoy.

Instead, it was just another of those MULHOLLAND DRIVE chinese box movies, puzzles within enigmas within riddles and I just got very bored very fast.
