If you post something that has been discussed in the past 6 weeks, i.e. you could have done a simple search

You should lose thread starting privileges for at least a week

however i did do a search, the was a thread about ideas for a new board, i couldn't find a new policy thread

re-searched policy found mostly government threads and policies about youtube etc

It was an older thread that got bumped a few weeks ago. But, to be honest . . . I have used the search feature for things and didn't find a hit, which later I found was only a few pages back. So, it's not ALWAYS someone's fault, although a lot of the time, it is.

it also helps to take the time to search BOTH or more boards
