If you could cast Corine2 in a show....

I would cast her as Kate Monster in 'Avenue Q' because it "sucks to be her"!

I have some excellent casting choices

Annie in Annie

Ensemble in Forbidden Broadway (she's seen it 40 times - she wouldn't even need a put-in)

Roxie Hart in Chicago

Gypsy - can't you just see her singing "You'll never get away from me....."

Dr. Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart

Annie in AGYG - again hearing her sing "you can't get a man with a gun"

I hear they are still raving in Great Neck over her Fosca in the Temple Beth El production of Passion.

Flowers for Algernon: The Musical

Spice Market - the role of the puking patron

Single White Female: The Musical

I missed Corine's Fosca, but I caught her Mrs. Lovett at the Dew Drop Inn production in Hackensack. My friends still rave about her one woman tour-de-force show "Mostely Corine"

I've heard through a friend that she's currently working on "Corine at Yodo of Japan" and every ticket entitles you to a free spice tuna roll!

I always thought of her more as a Mary Sunshine.

Casting her as Mary Sunshine is too obvious and easy. You need to think outside the box here. With Roxie, she can be flanked by all those men as she sings "the name on everybody's lips is going to be..."

p.s. I love your quote. There's a lot to be said about self control and being able to tell the difference between a big mac and a pop tart.

So what prompted this thread? Is Corine considering yet another additional career? Some may feel it's best to pick one thing and try to master it before going on to a half dozen others.

And what's wrong with being a Jack (or Jill) of all trades? Cornine is a renaissance gal. There is nothing she can't do.
I even hear Target is hiring.
PEACE.

There's only one production I'd like to see Corine2 star in: ...AND MISS REARDON DRINKS A LITTLE.

Then, too, there's always NIGHT OF THE IGUANA.

Maggie the cat?
PS Honey, I am not old. And my character can not die. But she can have heart surgery and be recovered in the afternoon. re: If you could cast Corine2 in a show....
I would cast myself as MRS Thistletwatre: If you could cast Corine2 in a show....(IT WOULD BE EASY, I WOULD JUST THINK OF DOLLYPOOP)
A CRABBY OLD WITCH!

Dearest Corine,

To quote Mame Dennis, "It's time to adjust to your age". You claim not to be old in this thread, but a while back you were telling people that you were a classmate of Brooke Shields. Ms. Shields in in her 40's. Maggie the Cat should be in her 30's. So what are you gripping about? You're a 40 year old who can pass for a few years younger.

Deal with it.

Hey POOP,
First of all I am not 40. Second, I was proofed at my friends company party tonight so I guess I can pass for a woman in her 20's. I have seen your pictures and you can pass for somewhere between menopause and death.
Deal with it sister.
