I would also like to point out how brave his mother was. I got the feeling that if she broke down he would have been disappointed. She came off as just as strong as he did. His Mom deserves a lot of credit. Anyone who can raise such a special child like that must be just someone amazing!

Yep that definitely made me cry. At 11 and knowing that he was going to die soon, he was still more concerned that homeless people are fed and that the bees can continue to thrive. That is such an admirable and beautiful thing. He and his mother seemed to have handled his disease and his inevitable death so well. What a beautiful soul and a beautiful story.

Thank you so much for posting that, Romantico. I know it's a bit a cliche, but that certainly does put things in perspective. I'm stunned by how at peace he appeared to be. What a lovely person. You can see how genuinely proud his mother is.
