Any Harry Nilsson album. A compilation would be the best bet if it includes Blanket For A Sale. Every CD collection should have a copy of The Point in it...
Paul McCartney's brother Mike had an album called McGear. Produced by Paul who also wrote the majority of the songs. It was a great listen...
Stevie Wonder Presents Syreeta, this little nugget slipped through the cracks and is currently enjoying a limited run release...
Dionne Warwick had some great Bacharach/David written and produced albums...
The last couple of Carpenters albums that Richard culled from the vaults has some amazing tracks on...
The Beach Boys Love You. If you like burping synths, this is a bit of a masterpiece...
I dunno, i think the old stuff is best: - )
