Clever, she was nominated, along with Lou Diamond Pillips who actually won Leader of the Week. They get to assign chores, always eat, and are immune from expulsion.

Taz, I dont believe for a minute the stories of the Bratt's not knowing what they were getting themselves into, or that they were ready to walk out. It's THE MOST staged reality show EVER! Watch and you'll see.

Clever, they may have called it "leader" of the team, but it was essentially a nomination to compete for leader. She gave up the competition immediately and gave it to Lou.

Did anyone who watched it understand why the Bratts were allowed to sit out the final competition?

I hope they come back with a terrible jungle disease! I did not watch and probably won't watch. I hate giving these pseudo-celebrities ratings that will ultimately give these idiots more money! When I think of all the gifted artists out there who are struggling and then these guys are getting paid an average 2 year salary for just one episode- it just makes me sick!

Heidi has seriously changed so much! She used to be so pretty, but now her face looks like a Scream Mask (not trying to be mean, but that's what plastic surgery does to you)!

For those watching this show and just seeing the Pratts for the first time, don't be shocked by their behavior, especially Spencer. They are over the top! After watching five seasons of The Hills, nothing about them surprises me anymore.

Not gonna lie, their wedding looked really nice though.

Interesting. That NBC link says that the participant's charity will get a share of monies donated by viewers. But NBC Chicago (and everyone else in town really) reports that Patti is banking a hefty paycheck:

"The former Illinois first lady said she has had trouble landing a job since being fired from her fund-raising gig once her husband's scandal broke. "It's harder when you've gotten notoriety attached to you," Blagojevich told the Sun-Times. "The first thing that an employer does is Google you, right?"

"To pay for her two daughters' $10,000-a-year private schooling, Blagojevich plans to take a role on NBC reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here." It'll be filmed in the Costa Rican jungle.

Blagojevich did not say how much she'll be paid to be filmed doing humiliating "tasks" opposite B-list celebrities like former American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar.
Her husband was reportedly offered $123,000 to do the show, but the judge in his corruption case nixed that opportunity."

Other local sources say she (and the erst of the cast?) make $80 K every episode they do not get voted off.

I guess if it is true that Heidi and Spencer will be gone, there is no point in watching it anymore. It really wasn't as funny as I thought it was going to be, except for them being complete idiots. I don't even think Sanjaya and Janice's creepy lips could keep me watching. That is, unless some other complete train wreck happens.
