The atrocities allowed by the sheer incompetence of this Administration's reaction to the devastation of Katrina, is simply shocking. Hopefully, the citizens of the world will understand America is in a crisis of leadership. Tragically, most who have died from Hurricane Katrina were not killed by Mother Nature. They died because of incompetent politicians. They died because they are mostly people of color. I still cannot believe this is happening in America. BUSH MUST BE IMPEACHED. WE ARE NOT SAFE. HE IS UNABLE TO FULFILL HIS DUTY OF PROTECTING THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA. What if there is another natural disaster tomorrow? What is there is a terrorist attack? Again, OUR COUNTRY IS NOT SAFE. Please, do what you can to have this "president" impeached and removed from office. THIS IS URGENT!!! Our country and indeed the whole world are at risk. WRITE YOUR LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE-IF YOU LIKE, CUT AND PASTE THIS MESSAGE OR WRITE YOUR OWN ASKING FOR IMPEACHMENT AND REMOVAL. Go to www.house.gov Right near the top of that page is FIND your Representative, and simply enter your zip code. This will lead you to your Rep's name and a link to their office homepage where you can EMAIL THEM about this. Thank you for your help and good luck to us all. I wish strength and courage and hope and luck to those in the devastated areas still waiting to be found and rescued, still clinging to life.

Posted: 9/4/05 at 12:39amno! this whole this is entirely the fault of george bush! i read today that there's word now that bush actually had the cia sabotage the levees and scuttle the evacuation plan just to take attention away fro the iraq war and boost the price of oil. he's a heartless, evil oil gazillionaire who's only goal is to kill blacks and homosexuals and force women to perform abortions on themselves with shop vacs. this is all george bush's fault!!!!

We MUST protect ourselves. It starts with LEADERSHIP. We need a competent leader NOW, more than ever, I suppose. I'm curious if a President can only be impeached for a crime, or if he can be impeached for doing a ****y job.
I guess we could possibly find out when the Democrats reclaim Congress after next year's elections.

Posted: 9/4/05 at 6:09pmAlthough actually "shooting the bastard" is illegal, saying or writing "shooting the bastard is faster," is certainly not illegal. It may demonstrate poor judgement or bad taste, but that doesn't exempt it from being protected speech. Of course the board moderator has the right to delete it, but the government can't come and arrest the poster.
