this also has the only graphic violence scene I've ever seen that felt so real to me, I still get queezy thinking about it.

I enjoyed the movie, although I agree with Goth about lots of the movie seeming unbelievable and tame. I lived in Hell's Kitchen when it was still a really sketchy neighborhood, and a lot of the movie came off as unrealistic to me.

Samantha Morton is her usual superb self, though. I thought she was wonderful. She's truly one of the few actresses working who ALWAYS turns in a terrific performance.
