"State Sen. Patricia Miller, R-Indianapolis, issued a one-sentence statement Wednesday saying: "The issue has become more complex than anticipated and will be withdrawn from consideration by the Health Finance Commission."
No, it's NOT a complex issue - you're either a hater or you're not, that's all there is to it. The thought that this bit*h is an elected representative makes me physically sick.

This stupid bill was never going to be considered by the Indiana legislature. And, DG I find this not a hate issue to any particular group, but more of an attempt to restrict the basic privacy issues of all!

I heard about this and I wasn't worried it would pass for a second. It's disturbing to hear something like this, but criminal charges on unwed mothers? Completely unconstitutional. My guess is she was trying to appeal to the far right in her area and will probably end up losing her seat next election because you know her opponent will not let the people forget this crap she tried to pull. I can see the ads now, an unwed mother crying with a newborn in her hand. With some inflammatory catchphrase on it. Gotta love politics.
