DDT was considered a lifesaving miracle of modern American science for decades until Rachel Carson wrote about its dangers in Silent Spring.
Right-wingers still think it saved more lives than it harmed.

Being called a right wing sock puppet because one has the audacity to not march in lockstep with the rest of the gang here & to , dare I say it, state a different opinion.
How surprising (not). It is amazing all dictatorships generally start by stifling free speech.
