Ingrid Bergman makes such a pretty nun!

I'm watching The Bells of St. Mary's, which is available instantly on Netflix, and I am hypnotized by Ingrid Bergman's beauty. I don't know how I have never come across this film before. Saccharine? Yes. But engaging none the less.

Has anyone seen this movie? Thoughts?

I've seen it, and I love it. A sweet film. You realize it's a sequel, right?

The first movie, "Going My Way," (IMO) is much better. Check that out, sometime. No Ingrid, but it's Bing Crosby (in the same role, but winning an Oscar for it), and his co-star is Barry Fitzgerald (also winning an Oscar for it). And the film won Best Picture.

"Going My Way" became a TV series in the 60's. Gene Kelly played the Bing Crosby role.
