International Thespian Conference 2007!

Is anyone else going to the national competition in Nebraska? I'm heading up there- not to compete, but for college auditions.

i'm not going but there are about 8 IEs [solo musical, monologue, tech] that won in competition and are going in june.
it sounds like it's going to be a fantastic time! good luck and have fun!

last year the girl who won for monologues was from my school.. and i was in the show the monologue was from with her watching the whole the evolve.. way cool. =)

awww man. I wish I were going but then again I had to pursaude them into letting us go to STATEs this year...ugh. my theaterical advisor suck utterly and completly and thusly I am very very content with graduating and moving on to better things then them.

YOU GUYS HAVE TO TELL ME ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT IT!!!

ADVICE: If auditioning for colleges. Go to the place where they're all set up and shmooze as much as possible. Introduce yourself, tell the reps what you're interested in and let them know when you're auditioning. Also give headshots to them in advance. =]


There was a workshop last year called

"How to cope with the emotions after having a fire in your theatre."

I laughed for a good 5 minutes.

There was also a workshop called "Catch Some Z's" which was a nap workshop...i guess.

I miss Nebraska. ::sigh:: So fun. And Tyler, we're lucky that we're going to college together! I was afraid I'd never see you again!
