To everyone who went, did you enjoy it? What did you think of the shows this year?

I enjoyed it and thought that Moon Over Buffalo was the best show, followed closely by Brighton Beach Memoirs and Piece of My Heart. I enjoyed all of the musicals, but I don't like the musicals themselves. Overall, it was solid.
Moon Over Buffalo was quite possibly one of the funniest shows i've ever seen. Brighton Beach was great, and i thought Zombie Prom was fantastic. Piece of My Heart didn't do much for me.
Moon Over Buffalo was fantastic. Zombie Prom wasn't as good as I was expecting. And I also LOVED Zoo Story.
What did you guys think of the IE Showcase?

My high school was the one that did Moon Over Buffalo!
We raised alot of money to get there!
Im glad it went well!
:)
that glass broke accidentally, right??
Haha, thank you!! Really. But, uh, what about the other acts? I only got to see "Shoeless Joe." They were wonderful, but I wanna know how everyone else did! :)
I totally forgot to mention that I really loved Songs for a New World a lot! Those kids could SING! And I think anyone who was in Kimball and saw The Taffetas would agree that that show was really really great too.
i thought that girl WAS in aida. that's what i heard. but i'm sure i heard wrong. oh god, i just remembered. i was there with my friend who's a really pretty black girl and everyone kept saying 'you have a lovely voice' 'great job'. it was hilarious. i thought loveliest afternoon... was good, the only solo actor i liked was the red head. the aida girl was really good, i can'tremember much else.

OMG the redhead was awesome. Yea, that was another girl last year that did Aida, a bigger huskier girl. The IE showcase girl that did the Aida song this year was amazing...she is the one that really stood out for me. It was a really tough song.I thought she showed so much passion, not just a pretty voice, but I really believed what she was saying, that's what musical theater is all about right? Capturing the audience, making them part of your world. One day I will be able to do the same. I have a good voice, but need to work on reaching the audience.
