I haven't watched the last couple of episodes.....I used to LOVE this show, but now I just have no idea what is going on. From the previews of tonight's show, I think Sun is pregnant....but, hey! I've been wrong before!
It is still quite popular with me. I think a lot of people got tired of having to wait for answers - but to me, thats what build's the suspense. I happen to think that it is a very well written, acted and directed show. I'm looking forward to this evening!
There've been reruns for about three weeks now, I think, so it's doubtful that you missed anything. The last new episode was the one with the flashbacks about Claire's abduction. And Sun's pregnancy isn't something that's led up to in another episode. Updated On: 3/22/06 at 05:14 PM
I'm just as obsessed with it as I was last year. I listen to the Lost podcast every week, I talk about it with my friends and students....it's still VERY popular - in fact, I'd say MORE people have started watching it in the last season that I know of than stopped.
I wasn't home when the show started, but now I watch it whenever it's new. It's a great show.
I was sick of waiting for something to happen.
i still love it. the only thing that bugs me is the dang repeats!

I still like it - but the darn repeats get on my nerves. Tonight will be tough - new Lost episode and American Idol in the same timeslot! What's a girl to do??
ME TOO! im still trying desperatly to find someone with a VCR

I have Lost set on the Tivo. I guess I will watch AI on the "main screen!"
There is NO competition. I watch AI also, but give up Lost for a half hour of filler AI? PLEASE. I'm sorry, but I don't know how ANYONE can opt for AI over Lost, especially on their crappy results nights.
The repeats have annoyed me also, but I've come to love that they don't give us answers so fast -- it keeps the mystery alive.
Ditto. Still love this show.
But I *still* haven't been able to watch the last Sawyer episode. Only episode to have aired ever that I have not seen.
yeah I'm with everyone else, I still love this show. I'm so glad it's a new ep tonight. I was getting sick of those re-runs.
wickedrentq -- why don't you get it off itunes?
Because I'm having technical difficulties with my computer in terms of downloading and speakers and stuff. I've tried downloading it from a number of diff. places but it usually does a little, and then shuts down the computer.
My cousin told me weeks ago she'd download it for me. Gotta love responsible cousins.
I never got around to watch 'Lost' though from what I hear I understand its following. It's just sad that JJ abandoned his other baby for this. I implore you, what became of Alias?

I wish I could watch Lost but like I've said in another thread, my mom and brother have an unhealthy obssession with American Idol.
Yeah, the repeats are annoying, but there are plenty of other shows that have repeated much more than Lost. Take Desperate Housewives...

Watch Veronica Mars. It's on at the same time, and the mysteries actually get solved. Ah, fulfillment.
This week was a filler episode - it felt like. Not much happened really, except for a potential miracle/unkown artificial insemination and some REALLY creepy dialogue from a possible Other. It looks like we're going to be in for quite an episode next week...
I still need to watch season 1 on DVD. It is hard to just jump in because it is really confusing! By the time I watch season 1, season 2 will be over and I will have to watch that before I understand season 3. It is just a vicious cycle

Season 1 is addictive. I didn't watch the show until someone gave me season 1 on DVD as a gift. I was home with the flu for three days, and watched the whole season in that timeframe...
Season 2 is good too, but there is too much time between episodes. I'm thinking of tivo-ing 2 or 3 and watching them at once, so I feel like there's less filler. Last night's ep was filler for the most part. Next week looks really good - what with the hatch going into lockdown mode or something!
There are not less episodes of Lost than any other show. They wait a few weeks between new episodes sometimes so they can show more in a row.
They are solving the mysteries while giving new ones, the idea that you never learn what is going on is simply untrue. But the point of the show is to learn about the characters.
And I think the second season is MUCH better than the first (which I loved) for that reason.
I do think it will be even better when you can watch the show all at once on DVD though. (I watched the whole first season in one weekend.)
I gave up a few episodes into this season. The first half of season 1 was very addictive, but then it started flailing about and throwing in new diversions and flashbacks until it seemed they couldn't figure out how to carry through the original story. I got tired of waiting for answers to questions that were brought up months before and I bailed.
