I mean, the word is loaded. That doesn't mean I don't use it. I use it a lot. Sometimes it bugs me or stings when someone else uses it, other times I don't care.

And sometimes - generally involving a couple heavyset men and an aneros - I even like being called it.

Seriously, that word is generally used in a derogatory manner. I would never use it, nor would my kids. However, I have heard many of their friends say, "That is so gay."

I hate when anyone uses a derogotory word to describe themselves or someone else in jest. There is no way to "take back" a word used for hate, or to take away it's significance. That goes for racist and sexist words. It's idiotic for black people to call themselves and each other n* or for someone to call me faggot or queer.

Anyone who thinks they are helping by using these words in this way is an idiot.

That said, I do use the word twat.

No, just admitting my faults.

We've had this discussion ad nauseum, but I just wanted to reiterate that calling each other fag doesnt change the way we feel when others call us fag.

Accepting that you like dick and loving yourself anyway makes it easier to be called a fag.
