I don't really know if 38 degrees is "gorgeous", muffin. :)
Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.
Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

You're right, Rob, it's meaningless.

It's not 38 degrees! Really?
I just went out to let the chickens out and it feels like spring!

I haven't seen a crocus or a rosebud
Or a robin on the wing
But I feel so gay in a melancholy way
That it might as well be spring

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

I need to stop.

I'm off chocolate for Lent. That, and multinational fast food chains. And something else, but this is a somewhat civilized conversation...

Morning my babies! I had such a good time last night. I met Liotte...lol. Of course, I met the Sara, too. I talked to Joy Behar.
Skinny bitch.

I should have thought of that.

I told my husband that I was going to give up sex for Lent. He replied that he was giving up marriage.

No, darling... I just talked to her. She was very sweet and gorgeous up close. She sang a mad-lib version of The Man I Love that had me cackling! She also spent WAY to much time rubbing in her chapstick with the tip of her finger over and over and over. Not that I was looking. Hell, she was sitting right in front of us. I just went up and introduced myself and said that I just wanted to say hello. She talked to me for a minute and said, "Well, it was really great to meet you, Amber." And then I got a hug. Yeah. I drove home happy.
I was all kinda starstruck. Hank Azaria, Christopher Sieber and Julia Murney were all there. I saw some others that I could identify by face, but not name. Too much fun. I will SO do that again.

That's great, Amber. I'm so excited for you! What was this marvelous, celeb-filled event?
