Sorry, Roz, I had to go walk/feed the dog. Yes, I'm also a pet-sitter.
Basically, I'm a budding singer/actress with a day job that I LOVE in "the biz". I also worked quite a few years ago, for quite a few years, in the business in Broadway producers' and general managers offices, for agents, managers, and celebs. I tried corporate life for a while too. Right now I'm happy in a job that's fairly flexible, allows me to leave Tuesday afternoon for a course I'm taking and early three other nights a week for the dance studio. I have a merit scholarship for musical theater performers.
Tomorrow I have rehearsal for an Equity stage reading which has two industry performances on Monday. I also recently booked a permanent part-time corporate performing gig which starts rehearsals this week.
And I love kittens, rainbows, and purple!

Most recently I was in CHRISTMAS RAPPINGS off-Broadway, that was really fun. I've been in an off-off Broadway production of CABARET, and I was Mary Butchet in SLEEPY HOLLOW for the E.A.T. festival. In October, I was in the premiere of ABUSED: A MUSICAL PLAY, where I had my own great song. So nothing you've heard of, probably.
I've also done some non-union TV and film work, as well as a couple of filmed industrials. I have never been as focused as I should be on the performing thing, to be quite honest.

That's way more than I've ever done, home slice. Who were you in Cabaret??
This all sounds awesome!
Do you have an agent?

I was an "offstage singer" in CABARET, meaning that I was offstage at the Kit Kat Klub, but in full view of the real audience. It was my first professional theater job and quite an experience! There were four of us hanging out on an inside fire escape, dressed just as slutty and skanky as the "on stage" performers.
I don't have an agent - haven't tried. That's part of the not being focused thing.

In her free time, Rath enjoys stalking middle aged actresses. She then refers to them as her "friends".
Sometimes her "friends" ban Rath from being within 300 feet of them.
