SWEENEY is going to be a masterpiece. MAMMA MIA looks like it's going to be just like the stage show: an piece of fluff that is far more entertaining than it has any right to be.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I was actually remarkably charmed by it. Lightweight, obviously, but the cast is fantastic and it looks fun.

Why are the dramatic musicals film or stage considered the only good ones.
I am not defending Mamma Mia stage show, cause I didn't like it, nor did I like Wicked.
I just don't think its fair. "Next years Hairspray" what does that mean. Fluff? Well Hairspray is a fun, campy comedy, that doesn't mean its any less honorable than a dramatic piece.
