totally off topic-
I actually learned some really useful tips from this board today.
That itunes thread has helped me to fill in all my missing artwork on coverflow. This gives me great joy.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, never mind.
I'm usually cleaning my house if I'm talking on the phone. It's the only way I can stay focused on the phone call and not chat, or surf.
Totally off-topic --
I found out the other day that my older brother is a grandpa. Then again his eldest child is 24, so there's a big age difference between us.
I hate talking on the phone, even to order a pizza. Delivery.com is my b!tchhhh.
I wonder if it possible that this thread can be remotely less petty and depraved than in was today. There are so many people on this thread I truly care about -- and I don't like seeing things spiral out of control and people fleeing and feeling uncomfortable as I did not many times at work when I popped in today say hello. Anyway...parting thought for this evening...courtesy of Nelson Mandela:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you NOT to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
I pretty much hate the phone too, except my boyfriend loves calling me. I can handle about 5 minutes before I get tired holding the phone up to my ear.
Well, if it isn't Mary, Queen of Scott.
Been waiting long for me to reappear so you could use that one, SM?
I thought that was Marianne Williamson's quote.

Between reading a bit of the Adult thread, and just catching the last page of this one, I don't think I'll be reading back.
If anyone ended up dead, just let me know - I'll send flowers.
The corpse of Decency was dragged around by horses and then flogged, but aside from that I don't think there were any casualties.
And we're all worse off for it.
Don't make me get all Elizabethan on your ass, Scott! (Or is that neck?)
you two should just get a room
I know it's pathetic, but I <3 Adam Sandler sometimes.
I loved 50 First Dates.
I haven't even had 50 first dates

Boobs' friend Lusia is in 50 FIRST DATES.
And I scanned back just a LITTLE - it's surprisingly easy to get a feel for things if you just focus on Stagey's posts.
I continue to have to trust people that he is a normal human. Likable, even.
LOL! He's alright DG, just gets a little out of control at times.
Okay, let me rephrase. I liked older Adam Sandler stuff. Nowadays he's just sappy and kind of irritating, but back at like Billy Madison, he was awesome.
Big Daddy is my fave Sandler flick.
Big Daddy's cute.
Big Daddy was probably his last decent movie.
Jon Stewart was in Big Daddy -- therefore it is, of course, my all time favorite Sandler movie, but I liked 50 First Dates.
Wait, where is Jon Stewart in Big Daddy? I haven't seen it in awhile but I don't remember him in there.
