Posted: 6/11/07 at 10:03amThey are leaving Georgia this morning. They'll drive until about 9 prolly and get a hotel. They'll get here sometime tomorrow. Dad has finally realized that he can't drive straight through like he might have done 20 years ago :) He is 70 so it's not surprising, just surprising that he admits it. Then I get a weeks worth of psos even though i'm 30. In a year it'll prolly be worse cause mom's trying to get him to move here. scary thought. i'm turning into my mother. (we lived around the corner from my grandmother growing up)

I guess she tries to make up for the other 51 weeks she isn't here. but she doesnt have a good example to go by. my grandmother was involved in our lives to the point of smothering so she's just following her example. I have to remind her a few times each visit that she's acting like grandmom. just small things mostly but irritating none the less. dont get me wrong, i love them, but we get along better when we are 1000 miles apart
