Well, Boobs, I don't know about Seaside Heights, but in Douglaston I had colorful balloons at every birthday party. And I AM older than you, okay! I am the oldest person posting on this thread, okay! (Well, except for PJ, who only posts here sporadically to torment Linnie.) I have to go get my walker now and hobble off to work.

True story D2...at one of our Birthday parties they ran out of balloons and the kids all started crying so the men to shut us up blew up their condoms...that kept us quiet.

Tazzy..on my mother's grave it's true....my mother loved reminding us of this story as we were older. D2...the mother's laughed and thought as long as we all stopped crying they didn't care.

Funny thing is that I haven't thought of that story in along time, but balloons always remind me of it. We did live in a better era D2. Parents today would just go out and buy more balloons..they're not as creative.
