Hey, Jaily, G'mornin! It is a beautiful day here, isn't it, and it is only going to get better this whole week!
Why do the New York Starbucks only hire idiots?
Oooooo, I'm interested, Jaily.
It is indeed gorgypants outside! My office is glass all around, so I get to actually *see* the gorgypants weather, as opposed to my last job, where I worked in what was basically a concrete bunker. Wouldn't have known if an F5 twister ripped through campus...
I didn't get the principal clarinet job. They offered me 2nd/bass clarinet, but I declined. Ah, well...it's good enough to know that I'm at least good enough to be offered a 2nd chair in a 2nd rate orchestra for less money than I make as an office bitch, right?
I'm sorry about the job not being what you wanted, Jaily, but it IS always nice to have an offer, and even nicer to have the confidence and/or ability to turn it down.
Oh, it's totally fine...I never expected to win it. It was just nice to have the nervous thrill of an audition again! (It's been about two years since I had a real audition).
It also reaffirmed my stance that I REALLY would prefer a career in a theater pit as opposed to a symphony orchestra. I'm not the orchestra-drone type, really...I prefer the pizazz of a pit :-P
Jaily + Pizzaz = WOWZA!
Pa-sassy!
Great attitude, Jaily...
Flipper is making claims of sickness...but I suspect it is far more likely sick of school and a couple hours she will be fine and magically able to go to gym.......oh I feel so dirty-- I always fall for these cheap tricks of hers...
I remember doing that once, but my mom saw right through it and taught me a lesson I never forgot. I claimed appendicitis to get out of a test. She took me to the hospital emergency room (my parents had great insurance) and I went through hell. I never pulled that one again. And I still have my appendix.
Okay, I am leaving now to go interview with the big boss. Keep me in your thoughts. **shakes**
You know I'm thinking of you, DJ, all the best thoughts of course.
Okay, I am sooooooo not happy right now. I got all the way down there and I was a little early, so the receptionist told me to sit and they will be with me in a moment. About 10 minutes later, the woman that interviewed me yesterday came out and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. The person that was supposed to see you today is not here because her mom was put in the hospital last night. I forgot to call you." So, they didn't have the courtesy to call me this morning to let me know that the interview was cancelled today? Grrrr . . . Anyway, she said that whenever that lady gets back to work, they will call me and let me know when she wants me to come in and interview with her.
Oh, that is the suckiest thing EVER, dude!! *big ol' hug*
Hyperbole much Jaily?
DJ, look at this way-now you can play Maroon 5 over and over all afternoon.
Yes, it is Jaily. I was hoping to start working Monday.
Taz--I am already on my third listen.
Tazzy, honey, you swear like you don't know me by now. I eat, breathe, and drink hyperbole. It's like, my *thing*, yo. :)
I just bought it DJ. Along with the new Erasure and Ozzy.
If you loved the first one, I am sure you will like this one.
I'm sure I will, although the first single was a tad disappointing.

I loved Maroon 5 about three or four years ago. Do I really want to go back there?
Sorry about the jobs, all. Looks like we've all had trouble on that front today.
Like I said in the "Maroon 5" thread, "Make Me Wonder" is far from the best song.
Who are these Burgundy 7 people you all keep talking about?
Booooo!
Jaily they are just the opening band for Fuscia 69
Out of the loop here, too, Jaily.
