:-P
Hey all! Just got back from the beach a little while ago. What a beautiful day! How is everybody?
D2 and I had class tonight, and I had to perform a cold reading of a monologue from Spoon River Anthology.
When I got back to my seat, little Deeter leaned over to me and said, "You can ACT!" I was like, um, duh. :P
*sigh*
If feels good to be home!
Tink, I hate my pics! Either your camera's really F*CKed up, or I am.
Haha! I'm so proud of you Rath. I always knew you had it in you! lol. I didn't know you too were in a class together.
On a side note, I had to do some readings from Spoon River for my voice and speech final.
It's not an acting class, so it's hard to explain why I had to do it, but it was his first time seeing me do anything like that at all.
I've never read Spoon River - the head of the class assigned me a monologue right before I had to get up and do it - it was great though. I want to read the whole thing now.
Kudos, Rath! Cold readings are a bitch!
Go Rath!
She's not kidding - she's damn good. Good enough that there was no way I was going to get up and follow that performance.
*stunned silence*
yay rath!
So tell us, Rath, how was D2's reading?
He didn't do one, SM2. He wasn't lying!
Woot for my CyberParents!
Speaking of great acting, on Sunday I saw this play at the Acorn called EXPATS -- best damn acting I've ever witnessed!
I had a headache. And as I said, I wasn't following that dazzling bit of of lesbian thesbianism.
Yeah. He claimed a headache. Seems the truth is coming out now though.
I did have a headache - a massive sinus headache that just got worse all afternoon. And then Aunty Ronnit slipped me a few pills...
Don't start trouble, dear, or I'll take them back, and then where will you be, hmmm?
lesbian thesbianism
Try saying that 5 times fast
I'll be back to having a massive sinus headache.
You mean "thespianism" (though I don't think that's a word, either).
Someone knows how to soften Auntie Ronnit right up.
You're going to ruin my rep around here.
No, SM2 - I misspelled that one on purpose - making up the word to make the rhyme. Poetic license, so to speak.
But then it doesn't make any sense.
