Not clever enough, though.
I was a cheeky little thing. I used to try and get out of all sorts of stuff: gym class (still do that, actually), math class (and this), the dentist (and this)...
Well, who knew good tap shoes could make such a difference? Who knew I was spending so much time focusing on getting the "right" sound out of my crappy taps that it had a big effect on my actual dancing?? Just found that out when I strapped on the new ones. I am a happy Rathy!

Yay!
Haha, my tap teacher just called to make sure I saw that they had arrived. I told him I had tried them out while the kids were at lunch. I said, "You can't imagine the difference good shoes make!" He said, "Yes. Yes I can."

I LOVE M&M's!!!
I really want to go ice skating. Or play in the snow. Or watch a movie. Or sing.
But not alone!

I think, first, I wanna go eat, but that would include me getting out of bed :/.
Then, I want to come to my room and realize all the work I had to do was magically done! Including having a monologue memorized!

Good luck with that...
I wanna still be in bed!!

Oh yea, and I had master class today. I'm not gonna sing, though. I hope she doesn't make me. I haven't a clue what I'd sing. After that horrible lesson she put me through...

There's always the "shoes in a snow drift" method, if you want revenge.

I think I'd rather stay in the school than be kicked out for getting an F in my applied voice class as an MT MAJOR!

Ass.

I didn't mean that to be assy of me. But...I don't wanna get kicked out

I know. It sounded like you were rubbing it in. Sorry.
I don't want you to get kicked out, either.

My tap shoes are the ****, unfortunately I'm not.

Thanks!! I was just stressing the fact that an MT major could not get an F in his/her applied voice class. It would mean this person was incapable of singing or something!

Is that a festive avatar, Daughter?

Oui oui, Daddy dearest!
In honor of my 1/4 Irish heritage...though if you were me real dad, it's be 1/2, wouldn't it!

It would. Although I'm probably not 100% Irish really, mind you we're not sure just how much. My paternal grandmother was adopted from England, and my paternal grandfather was from Northern Ireland, possibly of Scottish descent. Hence the reason why my surname is exremely un-irish. My mom's side is 100% though

Close enough. We'll take it!
My father is half German and half French Canadian. My mother is Austrian on her dad's side and Irish/English/Scottish on her mother's side.
So I guess I'm not really 1/4 Irish. I'm just a mutt.

Hey guys!
We got so much work done on our musical yesterday. I'm almost finished with the first act and Ivan is almost finished with another song.
I love it

Is Ivan writing for piano & vocal, or is he arranging too? Sounds great. I don't know where you find the time, I'm forever busy.
