I'm back, too.
Now my boring weekend of doing absolutely nothing can commence!
First, I'll pretend that ice cream will help my sinus pain.
You mean it doesn't?
It's almost noon here and Ivan's still asleep. He's my little Sleeping Beauty!

Lucky! I wish I could sleep in!
DGG, I was talking to a friend and you know how I said Hartt kids get free tickets?! Well, tell me the show you're sure you'll be attending and I'll get my comp and leave it at Will Call for you! I hope it works, just let me know the day and I'll try it!
Can't wait to hear the results.
Fookin' allergies, man. Bloody 'ell.
Allergies haven't gotten to me yet.

Thanks Robbie! You're a sweetie. I'll talk to my friends and see when they want to go.
Ice cream...seems to be...not working.
But I too Advil, so something has to help soon...
I hope. My head is the epitome if pain right now.

I'm healthy! I'm so happy I am. The whole program just went through the flu, except for me. And it was the flu that was stronger than the vaccine. My friend was sent home for a week...she lives in VA!!! But yeah.
Ugh, not excited to check more things in...which reminds me, I should upload the pics!

Yes, you should.
I'm so not looking forward to the mail for the next week. Progress reports are coming, and Hartt and Plymouth send out their letters their 15th.
Broadway Legend Joined: 6/20/06
Expect them by the 15th...I think send send'em early!

The website said the 15th was the sending date, but it doesn't really matter anyway. I'm not hoping for much from Hartt.
I had the worst headache last night. Shia's barks echo around the bedroom and it's hurts so bad I have to leave.
Plus, I think I'm going blind. I've had to increase the font size on both the internet and on Word.

I got an e-mail first from the University then I got a letter. The letter also tells you which and how much scholarship you're getting. It's like "Congratulations on being selected to be in the music theatre class of 2011...blah blah...But wait there's more - You're getting such and such scholarship for such and such amount."
It's funny...It sounds like a infomercial!

Well, I haven't gotten an e-mail. Getting into Hartt would be too good to be true.
That's what my Pace letter was like: "I want to be the first to tell you...It's YES!" It was funny!

Why is it too good to be true?
My friend goes to Pace.

Its one of the best schools for our major in the country/world. I've had next to no training, and I know that my audition wasn't perfect. It just doesn't seem likely.

Sigh...one more time, I had:
One year of vocal training
Two years of dance training
No professional acting training
The only thing I had going for me was probably my resume and that fact that I had done professional theatre since 7. I mean, I'm a great dancer, but I had no dance audition.
Training has NOTHING to do with it. It's whether they potential or not.

Sigh...one more time:
I just don't feel like I did that well.
It would be AMAZING if I did, though! I just don't want to get my hopes up and be disappointed if not, you know?

Oh, I completely understand!
I thought I BOMBED my audition. I RAN out of there, plus I didn't get the reading they were asking people to stay for, so I thought I wasn't accepted PERIOD.
It's just what they see in you.
I got my hopes up on certain schools, coughSYRACUSEcough, but things didn't work out. I just wasn't meant to go there. 'Tis all...
My F*CKing lord! Take it to the PMs you two.

Exactly. Plus, you and I are COMPLETELY different people. And talented boys who are interested in MT are hard to find. Not so much girls, ya know?
I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed.
I did tell my friends, though, that if I'm accepted anywhere at all based on auditions, then they're throwing a party. I provide the guest list, they provide the party. They agreed. I'm not usually like that, so they think its funny.

Yea, well it's exciting to know a school wants your talent I love that feeling, it's much like getting cast in a show, but 10x better!
