So you know the picture on the first page of this thread? I saw some guy wearing it at dinner today!
You should have handed him a piece of paper that said,
"Broadwayworld.com/Off Topic/Is that you in your avatar? 17"
and then if he went to it - he'd be all freaked out.
James Snyder of CRY-BABY is a HUNK!
I can't wait to see Cry-Baby.

Cry-Baby is the only musical this entire season that holds any interest for me. I love the score.

I haven't heard any of it. Well, that's a lie, I visited the site and heard the only song. I also saw the rehearsal videos. It looks interesting, the music sounds fun. But the one show this season that definitely hold most of my interest is IN THE HEIGHTS!
I haven't heard anything from the show. I suppose at this point I should just wait till the OBCR drops.
Compared to last year doesn't this season just seem so weak?
What's coming next year?
I'd rather a few quality shows than a season full of duds that close within a few months.
Me too. But a season with Grey Gardens, Spring Awakening, Curtains, and Legally Blonde is pretty amazing.
true.
I wish I could have seen Grey Gardens.
It was the best show of last year hands down.
No matter what song Sarah Brightman is singing, it sounds like "Aaaaaaaaaaaaangel oooof muuuuuuuuuusic, guuuuuide and guuuuardian," No matter what.
What's coming next year?
BILLY ELLIOT, SHREK
Revivals of WEST SIDE STORY and PAL JOEY
*saunters in*
*Dances to "Who Loves You"*
Matty, I never see you anymore.
What've you been upto?
What about CATCH ME??
I be dancing.
Gotta keep up!
:)
Next year sounds very promising. i'm psyched for Billy. And while I'm leary of Shrek, I love Tesori.
CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is scheduled for next season, yeah? Please say yes.

There's this little girl that takes voice lessons with my voice teacher and she'll come to sing in our master classes. She got a callback for Billy Elliot! They had 20 girls called back, 15 of which would be hired. She also got called in for Mary Poppins from that same audition!
But yea, I can't wait to see what they'll do with SHREK.
What about any of those Cy Coleman shows? Are they on the horizon? There are like 3 or 4.
