Posted: 2/28/08 at 8:38pmIt varies tremendously, Austin, but if you average all the AFM contracts for all the Broadway houses, I believe the average pit size is 11. Could be as high as 14, I don't recall exactly, and I don't feel like dragging out my Union handbook to verify. :)

I have a performance in a couple of weeks - I get to pick my own song, it's for a group of my peers...I'm thinking of a song that's new to me - The Greatest Star of All from SUNSET BOULEVARD. Max sings it. But, I love how I sound on it.
Thoughts? Advice? Ridicule?
